Da Vinci Education and Research, LLC was formed in 2002 by co-directors Kerry Leo, MS Ed and Elaine Micali, MS Ed. Formerly known as L & M Multisensory Instruction, the center was quickly regarded, by professionals and parents, as the premiere source for supporting individuals with dyslexia and related language-based learning disabilities.
Over the past decade the center has provided guidance and direct support to families and school districts in the Tri-state area and Northeast region. The expert clinicians on staff all hold New York State teaching certifications in a variety of general subject and specialty areas ranging from Kindergarten to Post Secondary levels.
Da Vinci specializes in diagnosis and identification of learning processes and pathways. Widely known for their innovative, yet practical, approach—utilizing a broad spectrum of scientifically grounded methodologies and programs—Da Vinci Education and Research serves individuals on site at their facility in Suffolk County as well as school districts at large in the form of professional development and consultation.
